The House in Grosvenor Square is a Regency Romance written to appeal to fans of Jane Austin and other Regency authors.
The story follows the romance of Ariana Forsythe and her betrothed Phillip Mornay in the days preceding their wedding.

Ariana explores the possibilities that will open to her when she marries one of the most popular and wealthy men in London. Philip discovers what it means to be a man of faith among the social elite.

Because of old offenses, some men conspire for revenge against Phillip. The plot puts Ariana’s reputation and her life in danger. Others try to destroy her relationship with Phillip by casting doubt upon her character.

There are beautiful pictures of redemption throughout the book as forgiveness is modeled and second chances are given.
The writing is fitting for the period, with great use of language and description. The scenes flow like video through the mind. A lovely book to read on a warm summer’s day.

This is the second book in the story of Ariana and Phillip. The first is Before the Season Ends.
