Gunstar Heroes was released on June 11 for the Playstation Store. Many gamers expecting to play the old-school game online were left with broken online play

Unfortunately, Sega won’t be fixing the issues anytime soon. A forum member at Playstation.com with the handle, Dactylion, recently received a response from publisher Sega:

“We have confirmed this issue as having to do with the players having different internet connection speeds and types. We have also found that it does not occur %100 and that at worst you should be able to connect ~%30 of time.

We are looking into options to resolve this but so far have not come up with anything that would be cost effective relative to the game's disappointing sales. I'll let you know if there are any further updates.”

So, due to low sales, don’t expect a patch from Sega to fix the broken online component to Gunstar Heroes anytime soon, if at all.
