Tequila is steadily growing in popularity in the United States, and there's no time when tequila seems more fitting than when you're planning a Cinco de Mayo fiesta. But these cocktails are so quick, easy, and delicious, you won't want to save these recipes just for special occasions.
Bravo Bull
Mix both ingredients in an old-fashioned glass over cracked ice.
Now, really, does it get any easier than that? Just be sure to use a good quality tequila to get the best results.
Doralto
Combine tequila, lemon juice, simple syrup and bitters in a cocktail shaker with ice, and shake to combine. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice, and top off with tonic water. Serve garnished with a fresh lime wheel.
The Doralto is simple, and wonderfully cool and refreshing. The dash of bitters adds a nice little zip. The warmer the weather, the more you'll appreciate it.
Toreador
Shake all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker, and strain into a chilled highball glass.
The Toreador is sweet and creamy. Of course, creamy chocolate is good any time, but this cocktail is especially good as an after-dinner drink.
