The wait is finally over--Marvel vs. Capcom 2 fans can now download the full version of the game on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 1200 Microsoft Points, or approximately 15 dollars.

The game itself takes up 196.70 MB of hard drive storage space. The menu has been slightly redesigned for its re-release, but the same obnoxious "I wanna take you for a riiiide" continues to loop when selecting characters.

Additionally, the entire cast of characters has been unlocked for the player already, so on the one hand you can jump right in with anyone, but there's no satisfaction of unlocking them as you earn more and more points: a slight trade-off that rewards casual players.

Single player boasts three modes of play: Arcade Mode, Training Mode, and Score Attack Mode. Multiplayer allows two players to battle each other on a single console, as well as ranked and unranked online matches.

The graphics have been smoothed over and look great on an HD television and the backgrounds still look better than some fighters on the market now. A small collection of 12 achievements rounds out this re-released polishing of an already great game. For 15 dollars, it's definitely worth it.

PS3 players will be able to download and purchase the full version of the game on August 13.
