You may have noticed that your beloved Seattle Grassroots Examiner has been on vacation for a little while. Well, I'm back, ready for the last leg of summer and home stretch to fall. And as usual, fall is packed with a slew of events and activities to kickstart another school year, work year, or just get you moving before the cold sets in. Here's a quick overview of some of the great grassroots events coming up in Seattle.

Events like these are excellent ways to give back to your local changemakers, support your community, make a positive impact, network, and meet people with similar interests. Not to mention have great meals, pick up fresh produce, or learn about your legal rights.

Hablando con Amigos at the World Affairs Council, 9/8/09

Seattle Tilth's Harvest Fair, 9/12/09
