No bride wants to think anything could go wrong on her wedding day. You've planned too hard for any mishap now! Unfortunately, most of what's going to happen on your wedding day is out of your hands at this point. However, live by the boy scout motto and be prepared for any sort of fashion emergency so that you'll still be looking your best even in the face of a problem.

Every bride should have a bridal emergency kit on hand for all the little things that may come up. But what to put in it? Here's a handy (and extensive) list of things you may want just in case:

Antacid and/or Pepto Bismol
Antihistamine and/or cold medication (non-drowsy formula)
Aspirin and/or Ibuprofen
Band Aids
Hard candy (smells better than cough drops)
Any and all prescription medication the Bride will need
Several small, full, water bottles
Baby Powder (great for spills on a white dress – dab with water, then with the powder)
Barrettes and/or bobby pins
Brush/comb/pick
Deodorant
Floss
Hair dryer (for hair, or dress after stain removal)
Hair spray and/or gel
Hand lotion
Hand towel (use around the neck when applying makeup)
Handy-wipes
Kleenex
Lint remover (also works to take makeup off a tuxedo)
Makeup kit – everything the Bride will use
Makeup remover
Mirror (hand-held and floor-length if one is not provided, at the venue)
Nail polish in the color the Bride is wearing and clear for nails and nylon runs
Perfume
Shout wipes, or something similar for stain removal
Toothbrush and toothpaste
Water spray bottle
Extra buttons
Extra earring backings
Extra pantyhose / stockings
Travel iron and small ironing board (if venue does not provide them)
Apples, dried fruit, crackers and/or trail mix
Champagne and glasses
Cooler filled with juice, soda, water (as well as club soda for stain removal)
Drinking straws (so lipstick will not come off)
Duct tape, masking tape, sewing tape (for hems, broken bouquet handles and any wobbly candles, including the Unity candle)
Sewing kit, with: scissors and color-coordinated thread, including black
Small flashlight (if it is an evening wedding)
Spare hat pins (for corsages)
Super Glue

Assign making a bridal emergency kit to one of your bridesmaids or your mom. They'll be able to handle it and leave you with one less thing do you.

I want to know: What did you put in your bridal emergency kit? Leave a comment below.
