Pike Place Market, SEattleWhile on vacation last week in Seattle, I took advantage of trying a number of different vodka cocktails in various bars and restaurants all over the city in honor of Vodka Month here on Examiner.com. My three “best of” vodka drinks that I had while in Seattle were:

The Spuddy Bloody Mary from Athenian Seafood Restaurant and Bar in Pike Place Market.
I am a big fan of Bloody Mary’s and it doesn’t necessarily have to be a Sunday for me to crave one. The Spuddy Bloody Mary is made with a homemade Bloody Mary mix and uses potato vodka. It was very delicious. My drink was so strong that I only needed one to quench my thirst.

The Rosemary Lemon Drop from Lowell’s Restaurant in Pike Place Market.
Right next door to Athenian in Pike Place Market is Lowell’s Restaurant. Here I had the Rosemary Lemon Drop. I wasn’t sure about the rosemary in the Lemon Drop itself at first, but once I tasted the drink, I found it really refreshing. It was sweet just like a Lemon Drop should be and the rosemary wasn’t the least bit over empowering. It was a nice twist on the normal run-of-the-mill Lemon Drop. You could taste the fresh lemon juice.

The Fresh Strawberry Lemonade from Chinooks at Fisherman’s Terminal.
My favorite vodka drink while in Seattle is hands-down the fresh Strawberry Lemonade from Chinooks at Fisherman’s Terminal. It’s a simple drink: fresh strawberries and fresh lemonade, spiked with vodka. It was so good that I had two. I wanted a third, but I had other sites to see.

The following articles are all about vodka drinks written by other Examiners this month which include drinks such as the Long Island Iced Tea, Pink Lemonade, a vodka energy shot (before Red Bull was out on the market), a Vodka Gimlet and an Espresso Vodka Martini:
