If you've ever thought about living in downtown Cleveland or are curious about what life is like for the nearly 10,000 people that own a condo, townhouse or loft or rent a downtown Cleveland apartment, be sure to sign up for the I Love Downtown open house tour that takes place on Saturday, April 25 from 2pm till 7pm.

The event, now in its seventh year, features tours of 16 downtown residential properties, including:

• Stonebridge
• Water Street Condominiums
• The Park Building
• Perry-Payne Condominiums
• The Pointe at Gateway
• The Avenue District (townhomes and loft condos)
• The Bradley Building
• The Bingham
• Bridgeview Apartments
• WT Grant Building
• Statler Arms apartments
• Huron Square apartments
• Prospect Place apartments
• 1900 Euclid lofts
• Reserve Square

You'll be able to see units that are available to rent and own.  Trolleys will transport people to the various locations downtown.

The event starts at 2pm at The Corner Alley on the corner of Euclid Avenue and East 4th Street.  Several nearby lots will be offering $2 parking and of course, downtown Cleveland parking lots are now supposed to be safer and friendlier.

Over a dozen restaurants will be offering meal and drink specials throughout the day, including a $5 martini special at Wonder Bar, free nachos at Barley House, a free appetizer at Saigon and 10 percent off at the House of Blues.

There will also be prizes such as tickets to see the Indians, attend a show at PlayhouseSquare, see a comedy show or have dinner at a downtown restaurant.  A grand prize winner will get an apartment at The Residences at 668 Euclid.

You can purchase tickets online in advance for $20 each.  If you wait until the day of the event, the ticket price goes up to $35 at the door at The Corner Alley.  You can also purchase a special $99 ticket package that includes two I Love Downtown tickets, Saturday night accomodations at the Holiday Inn Express and a breakfast Sunday morning at Winsor's in the Wyndham hotel.
