Mercifully, there has been recovery of more victims of the Saturday helicopter/plane crash over the Hudson River.

* Seven victims have been recovered thus far.

* The victims on the helicopter were visiting from Italy for a 25th wedding anniversary. The husband was aboard with their teenage son. The wife stayed on the ground.

* The people on the plane were heading to Ocean City NJ. The plane had taken off from Teterboro. It is believed when the plane was flying down the Hudson it did not see the helicopter.

* The main part of the helicopter was recovered.

* It is believed that parts of the plane have been recovered using sonar.

Personal perspective. I went down to the waterfront in Hoboken last night. I just thought how sad it was that I was looking out at a body of water containing the bodies of people who perished on a beautiful day during happy momments. Cherish every minute.
