Ritz Carlton Kapalua by Rachelle Reitz

Airfare to Maui is on sale and now luxury accomodations are offering fantastic savings. Now is the time to book that Maui vacation.

I spent my recent vacation at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua, a luxury resort spa on the north shore of Maui. Some of the best beaches in the islands are located within walking distance of this beautiful property.

At check-in, you'll be greeted with a kukui shell lei and fruit-infused water. You'll be guided to your room where you will find luxury accomodations including amazing bedding, a spacious bathroom, balcony, IPOD dock alarm, and flat screen LCD 37" television.

The winds of Kapalua keep things cool on the hottest day. Take a quick jaunt to the beach where towels, water, a full-service bar, beach chairs, and the nicest beach bathrooms await you. Or hang out by the pool where you can order food and drinks poolside. Beaches and the pool are 24-hours, along with the state-of-the-art fitness center.

If you're bringing the kids, they will love the special children's wading pool and playground.

The staff will take great care of you, even after you leave. (I left behind a jacket and two dresses which were mailed to me at the hotel's expense.)

The Ritz Carlton Kapalua hardly qualifies as budget accomodations. However, now through December 22 you can stay for $299 night, including the daily full American breakfast for two at the Terrace Restaurants. Your stay will also include a $100 resort credit.
