Alaska Airlines just put its Mexico beach destinations on sale. At 25% off on travel between now and October 31, 2009, now is the time to plan for a relaxing break on a warm beach. But hurry! Travel must be booked no later than June 16, 2009.

Now is a great time to stay for cheap too. Hotels and resorts are on sale throughout Mexico. For great deals, check Expedia.com. Expedia is offering up to 70% off on hotels in Mexico.

My favorite place for rest and relaxation is Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay in Nuevo Mazatlan. A little bit off the beaten path, this spa resort offers comfortable rooms and amenities, a beautiful view of the ocean, and flamingos, geckos, and other tropical wildlife freely roaming the grounds. And then there's the 16,500 square foot state-of-the-art spa for even more pampering. And if you plan to take the family, The Kids' Club offers activities for children 4-11 on a half-day, full-day or hourly basis.
