My week 7 NFL picks were quite unimpressive as I went 7-6. A few readers have suggested that I should simply take time off until next weekend's wedding as I obviously must be distracted. I consider this to be nothing more than a challenge. Here is my attempt to redeem myself with my NFL week 8 picks. For more information on my NFL picks and why I did what I did, check out my NFL picks piece Zac's Backs on Associated Content.

My faith in the Texans is growing. Houston will beat Buffalo.

The Browns are terrible. Take the Bears.

How 'bout them Cowboys? Dallas will defeat Seattle.

The 2009 Toilet Bowl! Lions should beat the Rams.

Upset alert? Ravens over Broncos.

Manning and the Colts will light up the 49ers.

I like the Jets over the Dolphins.

Go with the Jags over Tennessee.

The real Raiders returned so go with the Chargers.

The Cardinals should have an easy win against Carolina.

Game of the week: Vikings over Green Bay.

I like the Saints to beat Atlanta.
