Pose with your pet like a celebrity this holiday season. Why? Whether you care about the folks in Hollywierd or not, you have to admit that they do know how to take a good photo. You should know how too! Here are a few pointers you can glean from almost any well-crafted celebrity photo. Use them and create a holiday album this year that you, your family and pet dog can be proud of. Just:
1- Give good face. Wash, tone and moisturize your face before the photo. Your skin will glow and pop more on film. If you wear make-up, put it on too. Offer the world your best face so you can take a great holiday photo.
2- Groom your dog. Don't polish yourself up for a holiday photo and let your dog look any old way. Bathe him. Brush and trim his hair. Cut his toenails. Make your dog look just as good as you for the photo.
3- Coordinate clothes. Match your dog's clothes to yours or vice versa for the photo. Clothes that coordinate in a holiday photo add charm. They also help memorialize whatever was going on during that particular holiday.
4- Practice a few poses. Celebrities learn how to pose for the camera after a lot of practice. Follow their lead. Get in front of a mirror with your dog and practice a few poses until you get two strong ones.
5- Look into the camera. Don't be afraid to make eye contact with a camera lens. The eyes are the windows to the soul and everybody wants to see what was in yours at the time of the photo shot.
6- Put on a happy face. Just like regular Joes, celebrities aren't always happy. Yet, you would never be able to tell by some of their photos. So offer up your best smile for a photo. You don't want to memorialize the holiday season with sad, ho-hum photos of you and your pet dog.
