Mario Lopez
Cutie pie Mario Lopez is still searching for a puppy. In the spirit of fun, he’s allowing the public to put in their two cents. Vote now at Warnerbros.com on what canine he should adopt. Also, upload a picture of your dog if you think he looks like Mario.
Lost dog Brindle
Brindle is the dog that was lost for 10 years until a little girl found him. Unfortunately, he was hurt and needed a lot of vet care; as a result, Brindle couldn’t be reunited with his owner right away. Good news! He is feeling better. So, the official date that Brindle will go home is October 30, 2009.
Jessica Simpson
Country singer Jessica Simpson is mourning the loss of her dog Daisy. A coyote snatched Daisy a few weeks ago. As a result, she is gone forever. Let’s all send up warm wishes and prayers to Jessica so she can get through this difficult time.
Surfin’ dog Ricochet
Ricochet, the surfin’ for paws-abilities dogs, raised enough money for 15-year-old Patrick. Patrick is a quadriplegic who needed help paying for a new therapy dog and also physical therapy. The goal was $8,000. Ricochet earned this amount plus another $1,000!
Ex-dogfighter Michael Vick
Pro-baller Michael Vick is now making the rounds to low-income, urban community centers in order to warn youth against the ills of dog fighting. One of his first stops was in Atlanta. Although his good works have come at a price, it’s good to see that he is following through with his plans to make amends for past misdeeds.
