Detroit city’s Fisher Theatre plans on celebrating Halloween in style. How? On Oct. 20th, they are hosting ‘the Legally Blonde Howl-o-ween Costume Contest for Canines’.  The name of is event is of course in honor of the play Legally Blonde that is about to start at this venue.

Legally Blonde is a tale about a Chihuahua-carrying, fashionista (Elle) who goes to Harvard Law School with the hopes of winning back her boyfriend. Fisher Theatre is going to run this play starting Oct. 15 to Nov. 1. The cast are going to judge the ‘the Legally Blonde Howl-o-ween Costume Contest for Canines’ and give away 4 VIP Tickets to select performance to three winners along with the following prizes:  $100 gift card to PetSmart (1st place), $50 gift card to PetSmart (2nd place) and $25 gift card to PetSmart (3rd place). In addition to the above, the first 25 people, with canine, to check-in will get two free tickets to a select performance.
