Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute is conducting a research study to see if water or orange juice helps people burn more fat after eating breakfast.

Children at least 8-years-old and adults who are chosen will receive:

  • Free breakfast on 2 different days
  • Information about which typical breakfast beverage helps you burn more fat

Participants will need to:

  • Make 2 different visits to the Center within 2 weeks
  • Have 2 interviews, one during each visit
  • Be willing to eat the breakfast provided
  • Be willing to have 2 blood draws, one during each visit

Participants will be paid $100 if both study visits are completed within 2 weeks and $50 if only one visit is completed.  If you're interested in being in this study email or call Dr. Jodi Stookey at 510-450-7945.
