Dr. Susan Taylor's RX for brown skin Bright and Clear

RX for Brown Skin products were created by Dr. Susan Taylor.  A line that is a first of it's kind to specifically meet the needs of brown skin tones.

"I created Dr. Susan Taylor's Rx for Brown Skin to not only maintain healthy brown skin but also to prevent and treat concerns unique to brown skin," says Dr. Taylor. "Brown skin is often easily irritated and when that occurs, uneven skin tone, dark marks and discoloration may result. I formulated Rx for Brown Skin to not only avoid irritation (all of my cleansers, toners, moisturizers and serums) are fragrance-free, lanolin-free, alcohol-free, propylene glycol-free and dye-free. Additionally, they contain Bright Skin Complex, a unique blend of hyaluronic acid (for hydration), soy (that can help with pigmentation), and pomegranate (that can help with inflammation). The Bright & Healthy regimen is designed for normal to dry, sensitive and irritated brown skin. The Bright & Even regimen contains glycolic acid and the enzyme papain to gently exfoliate and help with discolorations. Finally, the Bright & Clear regimen contains salicylic acid (as opposed to the harsher benzoyl peroxide) to address the needs of acne prone and oily brown skin."

RX for Brown Skin Bright and Clear
Designed to sweep away excessive oil and residual impurities from pores and skin's surface. Formulated especially for acne-prone skin, special ingredients help control acne blemishes, blackheads and whiteheads, and remove pore-clogging debris without drying or irritating brown skin. Additionally, an important layer of beneficial antioxidants help brighten skin and promote uniform skin tone. The complete kit contains:

- RX for brown skin Bright and Clear Cleanser
- RX for brown skin Bright and Clear Toner
- RX for brown skin Bright and Clear Moisturizer
- RX for brown skin Naturally Flawless (helps to even out skin tone)

Other recommendations: RX for brown skin Protect and Defend Moisturizing Sunscreen

Personal Review: This product line proves to be quite effective at controlling mild acne breakouts.  The cleanser is awesome for getting rid of makeup and dirt build-up which is a big plus, and it also leaves your skin feeling nice and soft.  RX for brown skin Naturally Flawless (made to even skin tone) doesn't contain any hydroquinone which is naturally a good thing, but the downside is that it's very slow acting, so the question remains if it's even worth using at all since the skin has the tendency to heal on it's own within time. The products work well on sensitive skin types not causing skin irritation and a little goes a very long way.

Would I recommend this product line for people with mild to moderate acne?  Absolutely
