While I like to pat myself on the back as an authority in education, there are those to whom I must give their credit. Here are my favorite education blogs.
Joanne Jacobs, author of Our School is a freelance blogger who focuses on education. She keeps up with everything education and most things homeschooling, and most of the time, I find our ideals are in alignment. Not always, but most times. For example, I disagree that the binding of the hands and feet of students to demonstrate slavery was harmless.
Larry Ferlazzo's Websites of the day is written by a high school teacher and former community organizer. He focusses on aplications and online tools for education. This is one of my passions.
Let's Play Math blog focuses on keeping math fun. It is written by a homeschool mom and math lover. This site will give you lots of ideas for playing math.
NYC Educator gives a humourous take on dealing with parents and students. The latest post discusses a conversation among teachers.... very frustrated teachers. It's funny. Read it.
There are also a few good education blogs here are examiner.com that really excite me.
