In Steven Spielberg's 1980s classic movie Back to the Future, a journey into the future or back to the past was made simple with the one-of-a-kind DeLorean time machine. Although Ashford Castle and the g Hotel Galway can't put that kind of a trip together, they do make the journey to two distinct eras of Ireland's history possible. Ashford Castle, which originally dates back to 1228, and the g Hotel Galway, which is eclectically modern, have joined together to offer a special Back to the Future Package showcasing the best of both worlds.

Valid through December 22, 2009, the four-night promotion is priced at US$888 (movie trivia: The DeLorean had to go how many miles per hour to travel through time?*) and includes two nights' accommodation at each hotel (in any order) and a full Irish breakfast each morning
