This tell-it-like-it-is, sometimes technical sometimes not, book is a must read for anyone who craves good health. The China Study, written by T. Colin Campbell, PhD, and Thomas M. Campbell II, describes how Dr. Campbell discovered -- through his own research and the research of others -- that animal products, such as meat and milk create disease. Originally, Dr. Campbell's aim was to study how we could make better -- healthier varieties of -- meat and dairy products; however, he found that these items were disastrous to human health.

Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease, written by Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., MD, outlines the importance of following a no-added-fat diet. By revealing the results of the 12-year research study that he designed and carried out, Dr. Esselstyn gives hope to people who have been diagnosed with heart disease and to those of us who don’t have it, and never want it. Although his recommended diet is strict, the benefits are unmatched. The book contains plenty of tasty recipes that follow his guidelines for a disease-free heart.

Dr. Joel Furhman has combined the somewhat technical information of The China Study and the rigidity of Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease in his new book, Eat for Health. This two-volume book set is a step-by-step guide to changing how you think about food and to changing the kinds of food you eat. Like Dr. Esselstyn’s book, Eat for Health contains fabulous recipes that give you options for delicious meals.
