Footy fans rejoice.  At least those of you on this side of the pond.  It looks like one of the best match commentators in the English-speaking world will be calling the games at the 2010 World Cup.

Whatever you think of Andy Gray, it was nice to get a European, albeit English, perspective on the European Championship last year.  Now we get the experience and perfect pacing of Martin Tyler.

In 2006, we had to endure Dave O'Brien and Marcelo Balboa in Germany.  But to get Martin Tyler as the feature for ESPN's coverage this upcoming summer is good business indeed.
