Dog daycare sends Christmas toys to military dogs.

Dogtopia, a dog daycare chain, is shipping off supplies and toys just in time for Christmas to military dogs and their handlers stationed in war zones. Amy Nichols who is the CEO of Dogtopia has four big boxes going to the K-9 units in Iraq and four to Afghanistan.

This is the fourth year Dogtopia is sending canine care packages for military dogs. The money for the project is raised through a national car wash day which is held by every Dogtopia day care. This year they collected $6,500.00

The boxes contain cookies, chew bones, rope toys and hard rubber toys. Each year, Nichols receives requests from the military dog handlers and she tries her best to gather all of the items needed. This year the number one request was the rope toys for tug of war games. The packages are Dogtopia’s way of saying thank you to the hard working K-9 units.
