Shipping mix-up costs Target exclusive on '90210' DVD set

It's not uncommon for DVD sets and new music releases to come with a special "bonus" which is only available at a particular chain of stores. In the case of the new "90210 Season One" box set, fans who purchased the package at Target were promised a special bonus disc, which would include an exclusice 30-minute interview only available at that chain of stores.

Unfortunately for Target, a shipping error has reportedly cost the chain an exclusive. At least, an exclusive that's easily available for fans of the CW show.

According to sources at Paramount, most if not all Target stores were shipped the wrong DVD sets, resulting in a lot of confusion in stores this week. While visitors to many Target stores found displays of the box set and banners promoting the bonus disc, the set actually for sale was the "normal" release.
