In a study that makes any sane human being wonder who would have the time to compile such tedious data, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has declared that television network CBS needs to brush up on its casting of homosexual roles.

Researchers concluded that CBS does not have any gay, lesbian, bisexual or transexual roles at all. ABC boasted the highest number of "LBGT Characters," with 5 percent of its total roles dedicated to such personalities.

Of course, the beautiful irony of the whole situation is that CBS is America's most-watched network. No, it's not just a tagline. It's a fact: CBS consistently nets more viewers than any other broadcast network during a given week. Last week alone, CBS trumped ABC by a quarter of a rating point — and blazed past Fox, which was credited with having the second-highest roster of gay characters, by more than a rating point and a half.

The following is the list of broadcast network's percentage of roles filled by homosexual characters:

1. ABC - 5 percent

2. Fox - 4 percent

3. The CW - 3 percent

3. NBC - 3 percent

5. CBS - 0 percent
