While prices have changed over the years and more over the development of flavors beyond our collective wildest dreams, the standards such as, simple chocolate, plain vanilla, and canned strawberry are no longer the acceptable standards.
Let your mind go free and ponder, while standing in line, how Maple Walnut or Cardamom ice cream might be able to excite your taste buds. The distinctive names only give you a slight hint of what you are about to experience. And as time marches on, so do prices, granted this isn't a $.55 scoop shop, the price for a waffle cone and a organic scoop of bliss will run you about $4 and some change.
Check out Thai Ice Tea, or Honey Lavender, you might even fancy a scoop of Salted Caramel, and should you be bold enough to ask for a double scoop, try topping that off with a bit of Vivace Coffee. And well should old habits, hard to die, and you wish to stick to the old time favorites, yes they have chocolate, vanilla and strawberry flavors. Organic products abound, and the flavors of the local ingredients shine through. My suggestion would be to forgo the usual suspects and check out the Balsamic Strawberry or the Ginger flavors!
