Pizza pie in the old hood...yum!!

October 25, 9:59 PM

Serving Rainier Valley since 57!
There aren't many Mom and Pop places like Vince's Italian restaurant around anymore, I miss that about Seattle sometimes.  Vince's, the original, located in the Rainier Valley has for at least 41 some odd years treated my family and the old Hood, to some seriously fine pizzaaahhhhhh, officially since 1957.

While my family's Vince's tradition actually dates back to the day when they operated a location in North Seattle on Lake City way, we spent many a soccer pizza party or Boy Scout function there, sadly that location is no longer.

Now with locations in and around the south Seattle, Burien, Renton, and Federal Way, these locations still serve up a great pie, along with some other fine Italian dishes, but for me the pizza is still tops.  Their pasta dishes are a tasty treat, I kid you not!

Vince's is the home to the "Buy 3 pizzas and get the 4th for free!" deal, and boy do these babies head out the door, or as we did, just tonight, dined in and attempted to tackle 4 pies head on!  With plenty of leftovers, I was happy to realize that is had been over 20 years since I had last visited the Rainer Beach location.  And the meal and friendly service didn't disapoint.

Pies come in 4 sizes, 9"-10", 11"-12", 13"-14" and the EXTRA large pizza measuring in at 15"-16" inches of deliousness!  And range in price from $6.99 for small cheese only to the EXTRA large Vince's special which consists of Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms & your choice of black olives or bell peppers for $20.60. YUMMY!  And priced right!

Coupons can be found on their wonderful website, and don't forget to shop online at their store for t-shirts, baseball caps and of course the much needed gift card, I mean Christmas is just right around the corner!!
