Shoshana Bean takes over the role of "Peep Diva" from Mel B.

The reports are true: "Wicked's" Shoshana Bean will take over for Mel B in Peepshow when the diva's contract is up on June 22.

Original Peepshow stars Kelly Monaco and Mel B were each signed to three month contracts when first coming on board with the show; although Monaco made no efforts to hide the fact that she wanted to get back to the set of "General Hospital," it was expected that Mel B. would renew her contract, until execs announced she would be replaced with Bean.

So now June 22 marks the night Peepshow sees two newcomers in its lead roles: Bean and Holly Madison, the previously announced replacement for Monaco.

Bean is a Broadway veteran who made her debut on the Great White Way in the original cast of "Hairspray." She most recently starred in the Broadway sensation "Wicked."

"Shoshana is a brilliant and gifted performer and a perfect fit for Peepshow," said Scott Zeiger, co-CEO of Base Entertainment. "She is a triple threat--she can sing, dance and act, and her theatrical experience will bring a whole new element to the stage at Planet Hollywood."

With its new cast, Peepshow's performance times will also change on June 22, moving to 9 p.m. Sun.-Tue. and Thu.; Fri.-Sat. at 8 & 10:30 p.m. $65-$100. The $165 VIP package includes plush and exclusive cabaret seating at the foot of the stage with private waitservice and a complimentary double cocktail.
