Rihanna has picked London as the official launch city for the first ever performance of songs from "Rated R".
Teaming up with Nokia Music, through an exclusive Def Jam/Nokia partnership, Rihanna will perform before an audience of fans at an undisclosed location November 16.
If you're not in London there is no need to worry as the concert will be streamed simultaneously throughout the world via nokia.com/rihanna.
Billed in a promotional video as "Come Get Rihanna Live," Nokia's Liz Schimel, Head of Global Music, says "Nokia is extremely excited to collaborate with Island Def Jam and Rihanna to truly redefine the connection between artists and fans and to deliver unique experience and content across the globe. History will be made on November 16th when Rihanna performs for a global audience via Nokia's live streamed concert to officially mark the launch of her much anticipated new album."
According to Nokia, fans can sign up to watch the live stream; download a web widget counting down the live performance, and download Rihanna's "Rated R" with an exclusive track.
"I am so excited to partner up with Nokia. They are doing some really revolutionary things with this album, enabling me to reach more fans than ever before,' Rihanna said in statement.
News of Rihanna's forthcoming show comes just in time for the release of "Rated R" and a series of upcoming performances and appearances at the American Music Awards (Nov. 22) and Good Morning America (Nov. 23).
