The Marlon Wayans, Channing Tatum and Rachel Nichols featured 'G.I. Joe : The Rise of Cobra' proudly sits atop this week's national DVD sales chart.

Selling a stellar 3.8 million copies, including 500,000 Blu-ray discs last week, 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra' easily comes in as one of 2009s top releases.

Opened in theaters August 7, 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra' debuted with just over $54.7 million in domestic markets and has since grossed over $301 million worldwide.

Also featuring Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje, Gerald Okamura, Sienna Miller and Christopher Eccleston, 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra' centers around an elite military unit comprised of special operatives known as G.I. Joe, operating out of The Pit, taking on an evil organization led by a notorious arms dealer.
