eDiets is dropping its Atkins plan.

eDiets has announced that as of Aug. 26 it will no longer support the low-carb Atkins Nutritional Approach plan.

It will be offering its low-carb members a Glycemic Impact Diet, which is a Zone-type ratio of 40 percent carbs, 30 percent protein and 30 percent fat, which is a huge change in diet for those on an Atkins-type plan, which has a much lower percentage of carbs.
