If you missed last week's shot at the new grilled chicken from KFC, Oprah Winfrey is giving you more.
If you go to oprah.com/kfc, you can find out how to get a coupon for a free meal of two pieces of Kentucky Grilled Chicken, two individual sides and a biscuit. Uh, the biscuit has 180 calories, so you may want to give that to a skinny friend.
As for the best sides, try the green beans at 25 calories, a 3-inch corn on the cob for 70 calories, the mean greens for 30 calories or the three-bean salad at 70 calories.
That coupon is available NOW through Wednesday, May 6 at 9:59 p.m. CDT. But be very patient -- the site is crazy slow right now. I have a feeling that their servers must be overwhelmed, so keep trying -- I can't print it now either!
Update: As of 5:45 p.m. EDT, I was able to print out a coupon. Just keep hitting the refresh button. Here is another link: http://www.unthinkfc.com/
Another update: Apparently gazillions of people are trying to get to that coupon. Just keep hitting refresh. It's like calling American Idol. The lines are jammed and eventually you'll get in.
Yet another update: You can print out the coupon DIRECTLY from Oprah's site by clicking HERE.
Update 5000: Some KFC locations have not been accepting the free meal coupons but KFC now has a list of participating restaurants. Click HERE for the list.
