I was a little wary trying Jillian Michaels' new DVDs after her 30-Day Shred literally kicked my butt. There are two new DVDs in the collection: No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. I gave No More Trouble Zones a try.
Jillian Michaels: No More Trouble Zones,(Lionsgate Films, $14.98)
The video is tough but definitely do-able. It's a 40-minute workout with seven 5-minute interval workouts that target the most troublesome areas: saddle bags, muffin tops and wobbly arms.
After an active warmup, you move into the intervals, which tackle your shoulders, chest, arms, abs, back, legs, hips and glutes. All you need are hand weights and a mat. There are no complicated moves (well, except for those side planks) and you can complete the workout at any level and work your way up.
After the workout is a cool-down stretch.
I really felt it in my core and my triceps -- good places to feel sore.
And Jillian -- I forgive you for 30-Day Shred.
