 First off: I told you that I'd talk about the new Lifetime series DietTribe, which launched last night.

Meh. I even fell asleep during the show. There just wasn't an emotional pull like there is on Biggest Loser or Ruby.

Season 7 of Biggest Loser kicks off tonight at 8 p.m. on NBC with the biggest crew in the show's history, and also with the oldest couple, so challenges will abound. (And a note: Set your TiVos to "The Biggest Loser" -- the show keeps changing names and TiVo won't record it unless you have the correct title.)

Bob Harper was on this morning's Today show talking about the season and about the Pound for Pound Challenge. For every pound you pledge to lose, the show will donate 10 cents to Feeding America, which enough to provide one pound of groceries to a local food bank.
