Tracey Yukich appeared on Tuesday's Jay Leno Show and addressed her witchy reputation on the show.
"I played the game, and it is a game," she said. "No one says when you're leaving to go on The Biggest Loser, 'I'm going to play the game on The Biggest Loser.' No one ever says that. But you know, I can honestly say that every single day I was there I did everything I could do to stay there."
Leno then read Tracey some e-mails from viewers. One particularly harsh one read: "OH GOSH!!! I HATE YOU SOOOO MUCH! I would not step on the brake if I see you cross the street!!! I might even wanna accelerate."
How did stuff like that make her feel? "At first it did hurt my feelings but I had to look back and say 'Tracey, you did what you had to do to stay,' " she said. "And don't persecute me for taking care of myself for the first time."
Ross Matthews, himself an 80-pound weight-loss success, came out and jumped into Tracey's fat pants with Tracey. They didn't quite fit but they got close.
