Want to know the latest on Atlanta? Bookmark these sites
If you are someone who visits Atlanta often, there are a few sites, aside from mine (that goes without saying) that you need to bookmark. You can never be too informed when it comes to the happenings in the metro area. Here are a few that I suggest you should add to your favorites immediately.
- Atlanta CVB: Okay, this site is a given. If you want to have all of the metro area's pertinent information at your fingertips, this is it.
- Atlanta Journal-Constitution: The news source for the area, and basically the Southeast. I believe it's the largest paper in the Southeast. The site allows you to keep with with the latest news and gossip of the city.
- Creative Loafing Atlanta: Definitely an interesting read. This is a great source for information on any type of happenings in Atlanta.
- Georgia Navigator: There's no way to sugar-coat the truth, traffic is a bear (I know, you can probably think of other "b" words) in the city. Don't get caught in delays.
- Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport: A must if you fly into or out of Atlanta. Don't be the last to know about airport delays or parking lot closures.
- Restaurant Guide Atlanta: Dining out in Atlanta is definitely an experience. Find the right restaurant before you get on the road.
- Atlanta on the Cheap: Hey, we are all pinching pennies and watching our wallets these days, especially when it comes to travel. Visit this site if you want experience what the city has to offer and still have some money left over.
