Find out more about Sean: Sean Patrick Thompson (affectionately known as “DevilBoy” in some circles) is a dedicated fan of rock n’ roll. With so many genres and sub-genres floating around, perhaps that statement should be a bit more defined: He is a fan of hard-edged, guitar-driven rock n’ roll. His specific love of that form known as “hard rock” came at the tender age of ten when he traded a toy for a friend’s copy of KISS’ Alive II; the road to rock damnation was laid out before him and there was no turning back from it. With this column it is his hope to provide music reviews, live show experiences, opinion, and insight to what the South Bay has to offer fans of pure rock n’ roll. Additionally, it is one of Sean’s goals to connect with you, dear reader, and also get your own impressions of the scene, the bands, and what bands based here in the South Bay merit a closer look and listen.
