Kimberly Munley improving, conservatives arent

Doctors, and through a spokesman, Kimberly Munley herself has told us her condition is much improved and is improving day by day after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds in her confrontation, along with a fellow officer, with Nidal Hasan, returning his fire, and helping to put an end to Hasan's rampage.

 

It's good to see a smile on her face as the picture of her with Secretary of Defense Gates shows.

 

But while Munley is thankfully improving,  the condition of conservatives, both in the reaction to this column of a week ago and their attempts at politicizing the shooting nationally, clearly shows that conservatives are still  in critical condition. And have not improved in twenty years.

 

If there is anything conservatives hate to do is admit they were wrong about anything. And who can blame them since they are always proved wrong about everything they think, believe or predict no matter what it is.  Kimberly Munley's act of heroism was the most recent, and as I pointed out in this column a week ago,  a most potent strong reminder, that twenty years ago, conservatives has strong  opposition to women becoming police officers, or having any barriers between men and women removed in the workplace. They opposed equality between men and women with everything they had. They said women couldn't do what Kimberly Munley did. They said women couldnt do the same jobs men could do. They said mandating equality for men and women would hurt society and, incredulously, one of the things they worried about the most was that it would be the end of  separate public bathrooms for men and women.

 

But one would think that Munley's heroism and the fact that conservatives had such Neanderthal ideas in the first place, would make them reflect on how wrong they were about all their gloom and doom predictions and think twice  about the predictions they are making now since everything they predict always turns out to be wrong. 

 

But conservatives hate to proved wrong and the reactions to pointing out just how wrong they were brought the Neanderthals out of the woodwork as evidenced by the number and saliva dripping, foaming at the mouth comments the column evoked.

 

Psychologists will tell you that is typical of what happens when someone who is suffering from self delusions are confronted with facts that expose their delusion and burst their bubble, forcing them to face reality. They get very angry. An unruly. And with conservatives it happens on a mass scale.

 

Conservatives now are politicizing the shooting before multiple investigations have even finished and are drawing conclusions, which, based on their track record will inevitably be  proved wrong.  Rush Limbaugh even went so far as to try and blame Obama for the shootings.

 

So while Kimberly Munley is thankfully improving every day and her prognosis for a full recovery is excellent, the same cant be said for conservatives whose prognosis isn't very good and is getting worse..
