Residents are invited to join theChicago Police Memorial Foundation on July 19, 2009, Sunday; for a fun ride on the lake front to remember the Brothers and Sisters in Blue.   It will be a 6 mile ride from the Chicago Police Headquarters 3510 S. Michigan Ave. to the Gold Star Families Memorial and Park.   The ' 2nd Annual Pedal for the Police ' will be held in conjunction with the 5th Annual Cycle across Illinois that is sponsored by ILC.O.P.S.  .  The event has a check-in time of 12:00 PM at the CP Headquarters and a fee of $29.00 that includes t-shirt, the ride starts at 1:00 PM.   Signing up by July 8th will guarantee t-shirt, a $35.00 fee on the day of ride, with no guarantee.


Bike ride will be held rain or shine!   Bike helmets are highly advised.
