"Come Out and Dance" this summer at the AMC Walkway in downtown Burbank! 

Downtown Burbank Partnership sponsors this annual event, which begins this Thursday, July 2 with Steve Lucky & The Rhumba Bums. Dance lessons, provided by The Dance Family Studio, start at 6 pm, and the 2-hour concert at 7 pm. This is a FREE event!

The dance lessons and concerts continue every Thursday night through August 27: 

July 9
Phat Cat Swinger
If you enjoy the classic sounds of Bobby Darin, Louis Prima and Frank
Sinatra mixed with the new swing sounds of bands like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
and Brian Setzer, don’t miss this performance.

July 16
Stompy Jones
The solid sounds of these journeymen of jump are delivered in an explosive
stage show with wailing improvisations and hip charm.

July 23
Flattop Tom & His Jump Cats
Lead singer & harmonica player Flattop Tom is a professional swing dancer
who prides himself on keeping tempos just right for swing dancing and, on
occasion, he’ll grab an audience member as a dance partner!

July 30 – Captain Cardiac & the Coronaries
One of the country's premier 1950's-60's rock & roll show bands, this
group’s high voltage performances have been enjoyed at top venues such as
Disneyland, Universal Studios and three Super Bowls.

August 6
Orquesta Tabaco Y Ron
Twelve accomplished musicians from all over Latin America come together and
create a hard-edged salsa sound that has earned this band star status with
tropical music fans everywhere.

August 13
Lucky 7 Mambo
Inspired by greats like Jimmy Sabater, Cheo Feliciano and Joe Cuba, Lucky 7
Mambo delivers the best in classic mambo with an infusion of
African-American jazz and Puerto Rican soul.

August 20
Louie Cruz Beltran
Louie Cruz Beltran and his ensemble deliver a wide range of captivating
music from Brazilian and Afro-Cuban rhythms.

August 27
Susie Hansen
The band’s combination of traditional Cuban Charanga, hard-driving salsa and
straight-ahead jazz will drive you to the dance floor and keep you there
throughout the evening.
