Amtrak is holding their second annual National Train Day this weekend.
Los Angeles is one of the featured cities where there will be music, exhibits, and plenty of activities for the kids, including a party sponsored by Radio Disney.
National Train Day commemorates May 10, 1869, when the nation's first transcontinental railroad was completed, and forever changed America.
Events are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Union Station.
There are also special events scheduled in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia.
