The huge plate of papas

What I love about Weck’s is being able to get breakfast anytime.  The other thing I love is when you ask for crispy hash browns that is exactly what you get.  Unlike other places that when you ask you have a slight chance they will actually follow through.

So I normally get breakfast for lunch and my favorite is the original papas.  Imagine taking a bite of food that has crispy, hot hash browns, gooey cheese, just right green chili, chopped ham, sausage, bacon, and egg.  Yep, pretty darn good.

Their coffee is always good and their wait staff always friendly.  Actually everyone at Weck’s has great customer service.

When I return again, if I don’t eat breakfast for lunch, I’ll probably try their soup of the day, made from scratch or their roast beef quesadillas with cheddar and jack cheeses, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers and fresh green chili.

Their new menu notes the vegetarian options very clearly.  Those include a Veggie Papas – with sautéed mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, diced tomatoes, your choice of red or green, fresh hot hash browns, cheddar and jack cheeses and with or without eggs.  Other vegetarian options include a Boca burger, a veggie wrap, a salad, and veggie quesadillas.

You can find my favorite Weck’s in Rio Rancho at 1620 Rio Rancho Dr, but they also have six locations throughout Albuquerque.  Check their website for a location closest to you.
