Fans of mixed martial arts have been gearing up for this weekend for months. This Saturday, it’s UFC 100 live from Las Vegas, and head-honcho Dana White is pulling out all the stops. With two title fights and a bad blood feud all in one night, this pay-per-view is guaranteed to be one of the most memorable events in the history of UFC. The Lesner/Mir rematch alone is worth the price of admission.

If you’re already an avid follower of the sport, chances are you have your spot to watch the fight all staked out by now. But for casual fans or newcomers to MMA wondering what the commotion is all about, there are plenty of places around town to watch without shelling out the $45 ($55 for HD). Here are just a few of the best…

BW3 – Multiple Locations

With plenty of east side and west side locations and fantastic wings, “Bee-Dubs” is always a popular spot to watch a UFC event. If this is your plan of attack, best to get there early, well before the 10pm start time. It’s guaranteed to be standing room only.

Fox & Hounds – Parma and Mayfield Heights

Any establishment with great food/beer selections, plenty of pool tables, and televisions every direction you turn will work great for a UFC fight. Good thing Fox & Hounds has all three. And there’s lots of space to accommodate the Tapout shirt-wearing crowd who tend to be bigger than most.

Merry Arts Pub – Lakewood

A personal favorite, this Lakewood staple is sure to be packed on Saturday. Again, your best chance for a seat would be to arrive early. But if you find that it’s too crowded, the Riverwood Cafe, also on Detroit Rd in Lakewood, will be showing the fight too.

Christie’s Cabaret – Cleveland

If caged combat isn’t enough of a testosterone-filled evening for you, you can always watch the fights while surrounded by topless women. The Cleveland gentleman’s club will be offering up carnage and curves all rolled up into one mantastic evening.

These are just a few of the many places around town that will be carrying the fight. Click here for a complete list of bars nationwide.
