Bennett's Orchard began in 1958. The original homestead dates to 1850. The orchards are currently owned by Janis and Howard Miller and their sons: Hans, Chris, Curt, Corey and Daniel. They are located at 5647 Consear Road in Ottawa Lake. Here is part of their story:

"For almost 50 years our family has grown quality apples, peaches and pumpkins. We also make the areas best fresh cider.

Come visit us and see how a “real orchard” operates, no admission charges, or parking fees, just fresh picked fruit and home grown hospitality. You will enjoy picking your own apples as well as shopping in our quaint little country store. Inside you will find homemade jam and jellies, popcorn, honey and everything for your fall decorating. Get away from the big city prices, come out to the county for some fresh air and the best apples around."

The onsite store sells local art, homemade candles, fresh made jams and jellies, apple butter, honey and candies. They also sell fresh hot donuts and cider on the weekends.
