Pioneer in the development of fine butcher block products, Michigan Maple Block Company has been a constant leader in the field. Today, whether end grain butcher block or edge grain work benches, counter tops or cutting boards, butcher block is not only the best work surface but a symbol of excellence, in a butcher shop, gourmet restaurant, office or home.

Bally Block Co. was founded in Bally Pennsylvania around 1920. The primary product line included Caskets and Cedar Chests but later was expanded to include Windows, Window sills and some furniture. Butcher Block production was started in 1926 and since that time Bally Block Co. Has been a leader and innovator in the industry. In 1929, Michigan Maple Block Co. of Petoskey Michigan purchased Bally Block Co., and from that point on, they use the combined strengths of both companies to access Eastern and Western Markets.
