Cedar Stuff is located at 4910 Pennsylvania Crossing in Lewiston, in the Grayling State Forest area north of Grayling off I-75. They make handcrafted cedar log furniture. Their website gives you a good idea of the wide variety of items they offer.
They make some solid cedar log beds in twin, full, queen, and king sizes.
We will use from 4" - 10 " Diameter cedar logs for most bed post and we will either use over the top curve logs for the header or natural cedar logs for between the post headers.
Spindles are also natural cedar logs 2" - 4" in size or can also be natural twigs or branches.
All tenons joints are glue with a polyurethane glue and a 3" screw for a long lasting bed. We use two side rails with Oak or maple slats.
They craft dressers, end tables, armoires, free standing and wall mounted coat racks, benches, vanities, medicine cabinets, desks, chairs, swings, entertainment centers, and lamps. If you have a special project in mind, give them a call and ask about custom work.
This is rustic style furniture. It is smooth to the touch and rugged. If you want the log cabin look in your home or at the cottage, this is a wonderful resource.
If you want to add just a light touch of very early Americana, they have mirror frames, candle holders, birdhouses, and accent ladders.
Picture a stump leg table and benches on your three-season porch or deck.
They also work in walnut and redwood.
