NYC Summer Restaurant Week is upon us, July 12-31, and Open Table begins taking reservations this Tuesday, June 30th.  While some establishments have implemented their Winter Restaurant Week prix fixe as a recession-friendly staple, the 257 participating restaurants still offer a welcome respite from the economic doldrums for three weeks this summer.

Open Table does not announce the participant list or take official reservations until June 30th.  HOWEVER, Winedanddined.com has studiously assembled a list of participating restaurants, should you choose to get on the horn early and reserve those coveted dinner slots.

Restaurant Week offers lunch for $24.07, and dinner for $35.00 at participating restaurants (though be sure to check -- some are lunch only).  See Winedanddined.com's list of participants here so you can book early!  Or wait until Tuesday and see what's left.

Hot spots such as Convivio, The Modern, Craftbar, The new DBGB, Del Posto, Dovetail, Gotham Bar & Grill and Morimoto are sure to go fast!

Foodie it up.
