Watermelon pick of the seasonThe fruit of the season has been beautiful, bountiful and wonderfully sweet. It is a shame to let it go to waste. Get a little wrist action going and muddle up your next Mocktail with luscious watermelon.

Pink Melon – created by The Intoxicologist
8 to 10 Chunks Watermelon
1/4 ounce Simple Syrup
Sprite or 7-Up
Skewered Watermelon Garnish

Place watermelon and simple syrup in cocktail shaker.  Muddle. Add ice. Shake thoroughly. Strain into a tall glass over ice. Top off with Sprite or 7-Up. Garnish with skewer of watermelon. To lower calories use diet Sprite or 7-Up and switch out the simple syrup for sugar-free vanilla coffee syrup.
