Hot Coffee Cocktail and Drink Recipes for Tailgating and Tucking in during fallSure signs of cool weather become crystal clear as the leaves on the trees begin to fade into yellows, oranges and bright reds as the season blows into full swing. But the surest sign of all is the steam that rises from early morning tailgate coffee mugs around the nation from early bird fans eager to cheer their favorite teams on into a winning season. Clearly it’s a bit nippy outdoors when the sun has barely risen. The best way to warm the soul is a piping hot cuppa joe. Add in a splash of this and a dollop of that and a business as usual steaming cup of coffee becomes a tippler of a tailgate coffee recipe.

Cool weather warmers aren’t all about sports and tailgating. A few of the coffee recipes contained within the photo drink recipe slide show below take a little preparation, a cozy chat for two and snuggling up for a great old movie or great read. 10 steaming hot recipes combining coffee with whiskey, amaretto, Kahlua, brandy, bourbon and vodka are ready for your weekend plans. One non-alcoholic coffee recipe is included for your tailgate designated driver.
