Danielle Scutt runway

My greatest fashion memories from my childhood consist of wearing matching ensembles.  Ahhh, the days of wearing the dress-bloomers combination printed with huge cherries or sunflowers....

Leighton Meester sure knew what she was doing at the Met's Costume Institute Gala in May.  And while she's wearing Louis Vuitton, the farthest thing from children's clothes, the idea's still there.  She chose to wear a completely matching ensemble, and she pulled it off fabulously.

And matching head-to-toe just so happened to be one of the biggest trends at London Fashion Week.  At Erdem, mix-and-match florals stole the show.

Another way to achieve this look- match your accessories to your outfits.  Take a cue from the Lanvin runway and wear an identical purse and dress.

And, of course, I love the Spring/Summer Topshop collection in its entirety.  They have some really great prints in store now, so definitely play around with them:

So start shopping the looks now.  It'll be a match made in heaven!
