The great thing about fashion is that it is completely recyclable. Like cardboard, aluminum, paper, and plastic, fashion trends are used over and over again.
The tricky thing, however, is telling how long a trend will take before it repeats itself. It could be years, decades, or even longer...
Unfortunately for most of us, we don't have room in our closets to save everything. We edit our closets quite often and eliminate things that are no longer in fashion to make room for new purchases.
In fact, I often hear my mom telling me, "I used to wear that when I was younger! I wish I would have saved that!"
So, I started to learn from my mother's mistakes and not repeat them. I have kept many things that I think I might use in the future, regardless if I will wear it anytime soon. And, luckily for me, one of those things was my childhood denim jacket.
As it just so happens, jackets are a very important article of clothing for the season. And, not just any jacket- the good ol' jean one.
Numerous celebrities have been rocking them with anything from maxi dresses to leggings. Every time I see a starlet wearing one in style, I can't help but get a little giddy. All my great junior high and early high school memories come floating back to me. I loved my jean jacket.
And, now you can too. Whether you saved yours in your closet or never stopped wearing it in the first place, it's time to whip it out again. If, like many, you got rid of yours, then look no further:

You'll be a jeanie in no time.
